The Healing Center (Southwestern PA Medical Cannabis Dispensary Award Winner) is having a groundbreaking ceremony for their Washington PA dispensary (799 West Chestnut Street), Tuesday, November 28th, 2017, at 12:30 PM.

Pittsburgh, PA – The Healing Center was awarded a medical cannabis dispensary permit in the Southwestern health district of Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, June 29th, 2017. The Healing Center has three dispensary locations ready for construction, in Washington, Monroeville, and Cranberry, with planned openings in April of 2018.

The first groundbreaking  is in Washington at 799 West Chestnut Street on Tuesday, November 28th, at 12:30 pm. Members of the Healing Center will be on site to give an update on the project and answer questions. Senator Camera Bartolotta, State House Representative Brandon Neuman, Washington Mayor Scott Putnam, Washington Chief of Police Robert Wilson, and Diana Briggs, Director of the Campaign for Compassion patient advocacy group, will be in attendance and may elect to speak as well.
